Our new home! – November 26, 2010

Can’t believe that it took less than 1 week to find an apt and move in.  Thank god for IKEA.  If it weren’t for them we would be lost/clueless on how to furnish a place on a budget.  Apartment is recently renovated, nicely furnished, has a Juliette balcony in our bedroom, LOTS of mirrors, a shower that makes you feel like you’re outside getting rained on (in a good way), TWO bedrooms (hint hint), and full of pictures of family and friends.
downside:  We have a possessed OMEGA washer/dryer combo that rattles the whole apartment and literally moves thru the kitchen and into the living room, jolly wagon backpackers, no free internet.
Pictures to come very soon.

Food

Buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks are very hard to come by.  We’ve walked out of 2 restaurants 2 days in a row because even though they had one or the other on the menu they were “out of stock”. Dan has found thai wings, Joanne is shit out of luck.   Authentic Australian food doesn’t really exist.  The best/mostly found food is Thai – which is absolutely incredible.   The pizza we've had looks good, but it tastes like it came out of the pouch of a kangaroo.  So far we are 0 for 3.

We made it! – November 12, 2010

After a not so bad 20 hour plan ride, we made it through customs with a bag of lemonheads, power bars, and all our luggage.  Check us out exploring the city! Cheers!

Our Babies

Saying goodbye to our babies that we've grown and nurtured straight from home depot.  No worries though because they each found a home at the David, Lupinski, and Stasse households.
